A new sneak peek preview has been released by AMC for Breaking Bad season 5, episode 1 "Live Free or Die." The preview gives fans the highly anticipated first glimpse of the new season. Spoiler alert: stop reading now if you haven't seen the season 4 finale of the show!
The preview (seen below) features a scene with Walt, Skyler (briefly) and Hank Jr. Now that news of Gus Fring's death has spread, Skyler has decided that it was safe enough to return home with the kids.
Walt Jr. can't stop talking about Gus Fring's death and tells his father that the story has been on the news constantly. Walt Jr. can't believe that Gus Fring was "a major, major drug dealer" and that his uncle Hank knew about his involvement the entire time.
Jr. goes on to tell his father about how Hank took him into Fring's restaurant and he assumes his uncle was sending a message to the drug kingpin. Walt doesn't seem thrilled to hear this tidbit of information and he's probably wondering if his son's identity has been revealed. Of course, the drug cartel has ways to find out anything about anybody, but Walt probably doesn't love the fact that Hank brought his son into such a dangerous situation.
Of course, this all goes over Jr.'s head and he can't help but think his uncle Hank is going to be a bigger hero than ever!
